An extension and refurbishment project of a 40-year-old swimming pool complex to increase space from 860 m² to 1498m² allowing for the introduction of a new state of the art fitness suite within a new mezzanine level and a remodelled reception area, pool refurbishment including depth increase, new thermal suite with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. New village changing rooms with wet and dry facilities as well as dedicated group changing area for school and family use were created. Externally a redesigned car park, new entrance and circulation spaces together with the remodelled exterior cladding make the building more attractive and safer.
